What is marketing?
Marketing is about communicating the value of a product, service or brand to customers or consumers for the purpose of promoting or selling that product, service, or brand.
To be able to accomplish the goal of marketing a product or service it is important to first understand two important things. Everyone here must get these two factors clear in order to find the success they are looking to achieve.
Ask yourself, “What’s my role in this company and my responsibility to our customers. Am I the best person to fully implement it’s marketing objectives?
Knowing your role will energize you to do the work of connecting with customers … Knowing the objectives will energize you to reach down deep inside to do whatever it takes to fulfill the stated goals or objectives.
So, do you know what your role is and do you know what your company expects from you? Do you fully understand what it takes … to fill that role. Understanding these two areas now sets into motion the actions required to connect with customers or clients using your Marketing Plan.
It is that “Connection” that causes clients or customers to “want to” do business with the company. Notice I said “want to”. We must create a “want to” attitude in the hearts and minds of people in order for them to come to us for goods and services.
How do we create this … “Want to” attitude?
This “want to” attitude is created through MARKETING! That’s right, MARKETING” …
Marketing is the key to unlock their hearts and minds … Everyone knows what marketing is, correct? Marketing is by definition the way to get people motivated to buy products or services they want and understand.
Marketing means communicating first the value of a product, service or brand to customers, clients or consumers. Then motivate them to buy that product, service, or brand.
Generally, customers can pick up on what a product is all about fairly quickly … now the task is how to get them motivated to buy that product or service. This is the real challenge. Better yet, how to get them motivated to buy that product or service from your company.
